American Idol 9 Casey James Gay Rumor Pops Up After Good Performance

I just can get past the coincidence of it all. Casey James has his best week so far on American Idol 9, and hours later James Gay rumors are splashed all over the Internet. And of course, it has to be tied to that certain website that encourages people to vote for people they don like, instead of people they do like.

According to the rumors, Casey ex wife is just covering for him. They divorced two years ago. Apparently there a guy named Gino out there who is posting messages on his Facebook about Casey being his new boyfriend. Or rather someone asked if the picture he posted was of his new boyfriend, and he said it was Casey, prompting someone else to notice it was Casey from American Idol.

Not that anyone can check it today, as the picture has suddenly been changed. The rumor is already widespread, and basically there no proof. All that existed was Casey picture on someone Facebook. I could put a picture of Crystal Bowersox on my Facebook and claim she my long lost cousin from Ohio, and put a picture of two little girls on there and say it Siobhan Magnus sisters she was crying about last night, but that doesn make it true.

And even if it is true, why does it matter? Adam Lambert and Clay Aiken, two Idol runner ups, are now both openly gay. I think we probably past that point of worrying if an Idol is gay or not. Just like in season three the big stink was that Fantasia was a single mom. It was scandalous at the time, yet no one is concerned in the least that Crystal is a single mom, and in fact are heralding that fact.

I just find it interesting that this rumor pops up after Casey had a good night. Just like when Crystal had one of her best nights and everyone had to make it out to be a conspiracy theory about the Idol producers wanting her to win and giving her extra privileges when she was hospitalized with her diabetes.

If someone has a good night, let them have it. If Casey James is gay, so what? That news didn stop many girls from lusting after Adam Lambert, and I doubt it will for Casey James.
